YOUNGSTOWN, OH (WKBN) – Police arrested a Youngstown woman after they said she punched a 2-year-old in the face on Sunday.

Zipporah Thompson, 27, is charged with endangering children.

A man reported that Thompson punched his 2-year-old and threatened the child, along with his 1-year-old, if he didn’t come pick them up.

Police said he had a video of the incident on his cell phone that shows Thompson yelling at the kids, saying their father doesn’t want or care about them.

She then says, “Do you want me to punch you in the face?” before hitting the 2-year-old, according to a police report.

The man said Thompson also threatened to abandon the children if he didn’t get them.

When officers got to the house on Thalia Avenue, Thompson pulled into the driveway and was arrested.

Police said during the arrest, she was throwing herself against the car and banging her head on the windows.

Paramedics said the children didn’t have any serious injuries.
