A man told police that his girlfriend tried running him over with a car in Warren early Monday morning after throwing a television at him.

The 21-year-old man said he and the woman, 21-year-old Keosha Dupree, had been arguing about a post on Facebook. He said the argument ended with Dupree throwing a TV at him and then trying to run him over with her silver Chevy Impala on Martin Street NW.

The man said he ran down Martin Street and was picked up by his two friends. He said they were sitting in the vehicle when Dupree rammed her vehicle into the back of the car at a high speed, according to a police report.

The victims said Dupree continued ramming her vehicle into them multiple times before driving away.

Police said the men had complained of head and neck pains. They were taken to the hospital.

Dupree was located and arrested on felonious assault charges.

She pleaded not guilty to the charges on Monday, and bond was set at $25,000. She’s scheduled to appear in court again on June 4.
