LANCASTER, OH (WCMH) — Harry Potter may not be real, but his birthday is being celebrated in central Ohio.
The Fairfield County library in Lancaster is holding a special celebration July 31st to celebrate the life of the boy who lived. July 31st is the also the birthday of Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling. The celebration is a part of Fairfield County District Library’s Potter Palooza, which is in Lancaster August 3rd and 4th.
The event is celebrating 20 years of Harry Potter, and Muggles are allowed. Starting Tuesday, July 31st, the library will be transformed into Hogwarts and fans can be sorted into their favorite houses. Through the week kids can also visit Ollivander’s wand shop and craft their own wand and participate in a number of other Potter activities.

August 3: Harry Potter Costume Contest
August 4: Quidditch Demonstration (with Ohio University Quidditch Team)
