Bond set for Ohio woman accused of Giant Eagle bomb threat

GIRARD, OH (WKBN) – The woman accused of causing panic at the Giant Eagle on Belmont Avenue was in Girard court on Monday morning.  

Melody Holt, 66, appeared on video with her face covered because police said she could bite someone. 

Holt is accused of telling a bank teller inside of the store that an employee had a bomb. The store was evacuated as a result. 

It all happened Saturday afternoon. 

Bond was set at $15,000. 

Holt is being held in the Trumbull County Jail.
