COLUMBUS (WCMH)– The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a fatal motorcycle crash.

The crash occurred Sunday, October 9, around 8:14 pm. in Pleasant Township.

A motorcycle was heading northbound on Harrisburg-Georgesville Road, just south of Opossum Run, and crossed over the center line. That is when it was struck by a mini-van heading south.

The sole-occupant of the mini-van, Christina Robinson, was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The two motorcycle occupants were not wearing helmets and were both pronounced dead at the scene.

Their names are being withheld until their families are notified.
