Ross Co. deputies arrest suspect in meth manufacturing


CHILLICOTHE, OH (WCMH)– Deputies in Ross County have arrested a man and charged him with manufacturing meth.

According to the Ross County Sheriff’s Office, deputies searched a van in the 2200 block of Stone Road after a report of a suspicious vehicle.

During the search, the driver of the van, 42-year-old James Dykes, was found to have a warrant out of Chillicothe for receiving stolen property and was arrested.

Deputies said during an inventory of the vehicle, items consistent with manufacturing methamphetamine was found and evidence was collected.

Dykes was charged with illegal possession of chemicals with the intent to manufacture and is expected to be arraigned in Chillicothe Municipal Court, March 28.What others are clicking on:
