COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Police confirm that a Chase Bank branch in the King-Lincoln district was robbed Tuesday afternoon.
The robbery was reported shortly after 4pm at the bank near the corner of East Long Street and Governors Place in Columbus.
Police say the suspect entered the bank and approached the counter. He handed the clerk a demand note and displayed a black handgun.
After getting the cash, the suspect fled the bank.
Police say the suspect is a black male in his late 20s. He is about 5’7″ and weighs approximately 150 pounds. He was wearing a dark hoodie, black toboggan, gold rim sunglasses, one pink glove, and one black glove.
