Police in Utah released body camera footage showing the frantic efforts of first responders trying to rescue an 18-month-old girl from an overturned car in an icy river on March 7.

The video shows first responders attempt to save the life of 18-month-old Lily Groesbeck by turning the car onto its other side and remove her from the vehicle.

Groesbeck was upside-down in the car for 14 hours before first responders arrived.

The crash killed Lily’s mother, Lynn Jennifer “Jenny” Groesbeck on impact.

According to KSL-TV, Lily was released from the hospital earlier in the week after making an encouraging recovery.
