One victim critical after shooting in south Columbus

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — One person is in critical condition after a shooting in south Columbus Sunday night.

According to Columbus Police, officers were called to the 200 block of Buffalo Court at approximately 9:50pm, Sunday on the report of a shooting.

When officers arrived on scene, they found Keondre Spaulding, 21, suffering from a gunshot wound to his abdomen.

Spaulding was taken to Grant Medical Center in critical condition.

No one has been taken into custody at this time, and police said the circumstances as to why Spaulding was shot are still being investigated.
