One injured in shooting near Livingston Market

COLUMBUS (WCMH) -- Columbus Police say one person was injured after a shooting near Livingston Market.

It happened around 2:58am on Sunday near the intersection of East Livingston Avenue and Fairwood Avenue.

Witnesses and surveillance video show a white man and a black man driving in a silver Volkswagen Passat with a moon roof, firing shots at the store clerk Sakher Alkhreisha and a patron, 28-year-old Jerome Mock.

Mock was struck in the left shoulder and taken to Grant Medical Center in stable condition.

Alkhreisha returned fire at the suspects as they drove away.

Anyone with information is asked to call Columbus Police.
