Teen injured in east Columbus shooting

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — One teenager is in stable condition following a shooting Saturday afternoon in east Columbus.

According to Columbus Police, the victim, a 14-year-old boy, was suffering a gunshot wound to the upper body.

The victim was taken to Nationwide Children’s Hospital.

Police said the shooting happened at approximately 2:30 p.m. on the 900 block of South Weyant Avenue.
