COLUMBUS (WCMH) — A woman has died after being struck by a truck along Eakin Road.
According to the Columbus Division of Police, at about 9:53pm, Sunday, a 1969 Ford pickup truck was traveling eastbound on Eakin Road, approaching S. Richardson Avenue, when it struck Jody Lindsay, 45, as she was crossing the road.
Lindsay was taken to Grant Medical Center where she was pronounced dead.
The crash remains under investigation and no charges have been filed at this time.
