COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Police are searching for the person who shot a woman in northeast Columbus.
According to the Columbus Division of Police, at about 2:04am, Monday, officers were called to the 3000 block of E. 10th Avenue on the report of a shooting.
When officers arrived on scene, they found the 30-year-old female suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest.
The woman was taken to an area hospital in critical condition, but police say she is expected to survive her injuries.
