COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Police in Columbus are looking for a woman who carjacked a 72-year-old woman in German Village Sunday.
It happened shortly after 9pm Sunday along East Mithoff Street between City Park Ave. and South Fourth Street.
The victim told police she was parked in front of a home when a woman approached her and asked for directions to the restaurant Rooster’s. As she was giving directions, the victim said the suspect pulled her out of the vehicle, grabbed her keys, took off the car key and stole the vehicle.
The vehicle is described as a silver 2006 Ford Escape with Ohio license plate CU33SP.
