WHITEHALL, Ohio (WCMH) — Police in Whitehall are investigating a deadly overnight crash. 

Early Friday morning, officers responded to S. Hamilton Road and Fairway Boulevard on the report of a crash.  

Police say it appears a red SUV hit several pieces of construction equipment in the street before striking a utility pole and flipping over.  

A portion of S. Hamilton Road is closed, and the crash remains under investigation.
