COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH)– OhioHealth’s medical director of infectious diseases Dr. Joseph Gastaldo spoke live with NBC4 Digital Anchor Kristine Varkony about vaccine hesitancy among Ohio’s younger population. Watch the full Q&A in the video above.

As of April 27 29% of Ohioans 20-29 are vaccinated, according to Ohio Department of Health data.

Nationally, the CDC groups of people 18 to 29 years old. Their data shows 33% of that population has received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
