Boy, 15, in stable condition at Nationwide Children’s following shooting

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — A 15-year-old boy is in stable condition at Nationwide Children’s Hospital after a shooting Friday night in southeast Columbus.

According to Columbus Police, officers responded to a report of a shooting at approximately 10:25 p.m. on the 2900 block of Easthaven Court.

Police said the victim was walking home when he was approached by a newer model red Chevrolet Cruise.

The people in the car produced guns and demanded the victim get into the car, according to police. When the victim ran from the vehicle, one of the people inside began shooting at him, hitting him in the upper thigh.
