PERRY TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WCMH) — Two people were seriously injured in a crash Wednesday night in Perry Township.

According to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened at approximately 6:56 p.m. near the intersection of Riverside Drive and Henderson Road.

The sheriff’s office said a red 2007 Chevrolet Silverado was turning from southbound U.S. 33 onto eastbound Henderson Road when a black 2005 Suzuki Hayabusa motorcycle struck the Silverado.

A passenger on the motorcycle was thrown from the bike while the driver and the motorcycle ended up under the front of the Silverado.

The motorcycle’s driver and passenger were taken to Riverside Methodist Hospital in critical condition.

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, Perry Township Police, Upper Arlington Police, and Upper Arlington Fire Department responded to the scene.
