Union Co. sheriff looking for man who allegedly restrained, assaulted woman for more than 12 hours

MARYSVILLE, OH (WCMH) — The Union County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man accused of restraining a woman against her will and physically and sexually assaulting her. 

According to the sheriff’s office, a family member of the woman called Friday afternoon to report a woman had been restrained against her will for 12-14 hours and had been physically and sexually assaulted. The woman’s injuries required emergency medical care. 

The Union County Sheriff’s Office has requested warrants for 40-year-old Jason G. Bender of Marysville. The warrants are for felonious assault, rape, kidnapping, and weapons under disability.

Bender is believed to be driving a 2000 black Honda Accord with Ohio license plate number HKC5242.

Bender should be considered armed and dangerous. Union Co. Sheriff Jamie Patton urges the public to call their local law enforcement agency if they see him.
