COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Columbus Police have responded to a home on Zebulon Avenue where two people were found dead.

Police at the scene said someone cutting the grass discovered the bodies and called 911.

The home is about a block and a half from another home where two people were found murdered last month.

Police are making it very clear that it does not appear the two cases are related, which some resident find calming.

“It does because it does strike me as out of the ordinary for this neighborhood,” said resident Ben Patrick. “I mean, we all kind of watch out for each other, too. Our homes and cars, so yeah, it’s kind of an outlier I hope.”

Police said initial autopsy results do not suggest the deaths were a result of criminal activity.

The incident is still under investigation.
