Two months later, eastside homicide remains unsolved

An unsolved homicide nears two months as police continue to search for a suspect.

The Columbus Division of Police responded to the area of 558 Seymour Avenue at about 1:30am on May 30 on a report of a shooting.

When officers arrived at the eastside scene, they discovered a 20-year-old man had been shot.

The victim, later identified as Brailon Hunter, was pronounced dead a few hours later.

Officials have not released any possible suspect information and are turning to the public for any tips in this case.

Central Ohio Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for any information leading to the arrest or indictment of the people responsible for this crime.  Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 614-461-TIPS (8477) or go to www.stopcrime.org to e-mail a tip. Tips can also be sent by text to “CRIMES” 274637, keyword CMH.
