COLUMBUS (WCMH) — One person is dead and one is in critical condition following reports of a shooting in Canal Winchester.
It happened at the 4900 block of Bottlebrush Drive around 12:24 p.m. Saturday.
According to Columbus Police, Reginal L. Byrd, 39, and another victim, a 22-year-old man, were shot by a woman they both knew. She then fled the scene.
Both victims were transported to Mount Carmel East Hospital. Byrd was pronounced dead at 1:05 p.m.
