Two arrested after south side Columbus shooting

Two people have been arrested after a shooting in the south side of Columbus. 

Columbus Police responded to the report of a shooting in the 500 block of Southwood Avenue on Thursday, July 19 at approximately 7:52p.m.

Upon arrival, officers discovered Dennis Eads, 39, was suffering from a single gunshot wound. Eads was transported to a local area hospital in stable condition.

Investigators report that Eads ex-wife Jessica Robinson, 29 and Emmanuel Wadsworth, 31 had entered the house on Southwood Avenue and that Wadsworth immediately fired a single gunshot, striking Eads.

Both Robinson and Wadsworth fled the scene after the incident, but both were apprehended a short time later by Columbus Police.
