COLUMBUS (WCMH) — A private foundation is providing some financial support to the families of Central Ohio officers killed in the line of duty.

The New York-based “Tunnel to Towers” foundation announced Thursday it will pay five years of property taxes and utilities for Linda Morelli, the widow of Westerville officer Anthony Morelli.

They will also pay off the mortgage for the family of Kirkersville Chief of Police Eric DiSario, who was killed last year.

Back in February, the same foundation agreed to pay off the mortgage for officer Eric Joering’s home.

Officers Morelli and Joering were killed in the line of duty Feb. 10.
