Tuesday marks four years since Columbus woman disappeared

Local News

Tuesday marks the fourth anniversary of the disappearance of Jayme Bowen.

On April 10, 2014, Bowen was walking in the area of Stewart and Washington Avenues, when she was last seen.

Her family believes she fell victim to human trafficking, and they are confident she is still alive.

Bowen’s mother also believes someone knows something about her daughter’s disappearance.

“If you’re out there and you know anything, anything at all, just please call and let us know,” said Nancy Bowen. “Just have a friend call for you or something.”

Bowen, now 26, is the mother of two young children.

On Tuesday, her family honored her with a balloon release at their south Columbus home.
