Tree knocks out power to Linwood neighborhood residents

Crews work to remove trees down in an effort to restore power.

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — A tree knocked out power to residents in Columbus’ Linwood neighborhood Saturday during the strong wind and rain storm that blew through the area.

According to AEP, a tree came into contact with the power lines, causing approximately 150 residents to lose power.

The estimated restoration time is 10 p.m. Saturday.
