COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — Tens of thousands of central Ohioans are in the dark as rainstorms and strong winds hit much of the state Friday.

As of 8:30 a.m. Saturday, nearly 35,000 power outages were reported across central Ohio by AEP, including 2,600 in Franklin County.
