Ten Hilliard girls will be first in central Ohio to advance in Boy Scouts

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Ten girls from Hilliard are set to be the first to advance into the Boy Scout program in central Ohio.

The scouts, members of Pack 148, will graduate into the next rank of Cub Scouts on May 20. The graduation means the Scouts have finished the necessary requirements to advance. 

The Boy Scouts of America – Simon Kenton Council made the announcement May 7. The council says there are 49 girls in eight different packs across the Simon Kenton Council territory.
