REYNOLDSBURG, OH (WCMH) — A teenager has been arrested after being accused of threatening to shooting up a Reynoldsburg school.
According to the Reynoldsburg Division of Police, at about 3pm, Thursday, officers responded to Reynoldsburg High School Summit Campus on a threatening email.
School officials told police they received an email from an unknown person threatening to shoot up one of the Reynoldsburg schools.
Police say an investigation led them to identify the suspect as a 14-year-old, who was arrested Friday, and transported to Licking County Juvenile Court.
The teen has been charged with telecommunications harassment and aggravated menacing.
A search of the teen’s residence resulted in no weapons found, and at no time was anyone hurt during the incident, according to police.
