The fate of a troubled West Side restaurant will be decided in a few weeks.

Right now, Taqueria Delicias Mexican Grill, 375 Georgesville Road, is closed.

Depending on what happens Nov, 13, it could remain closed. That’s when restaurant’s owner goes before the Franklin County Board of Health.

There are three scenarios:

  •        The restaurant cleans up its act and reopens
  •        The board suspends its license – again
  •        Or the board revokes its license

Some of the recent issues at Taqueria Delicias Mexican Grill are captured in pictures from the health department.

The restaurant has been cited for having trays of uncovered meats holding at unsafe temperatures, bugs crawling over food cutting boards, and unsanitary conditions like dirty floors, and stacks of filthy dishes piled up in the sink.

Stay tuned.
