DELAWARE, OH (WCMH)– Armed with sign and banners while wearing clothing to show their support for the LGBTQ+ community, people rallied outside of Secret Identity Comics where ‘Drag 101’ was held.

Teacher of the class and popular drag queen Selena T. West greeted the crowd, signed autographs, and took pictures with the supporters.

9-year-old Olive had Selena autograph her poster “because she’s pretty.‬”

Delaware County minister Rev. Robert Souter said it was important for him to be there Wednesday because “love is love.”

The class has been surrounded by controversy. Some questioned whether ‘Drag 101’ is an appropriate use of tax dollars or class time for kids.
