Sunbury man charged with rape of juvenile victim; police seeking more victims

SUNBURY, OH (WCMH) — Sunbury police say there may be more victims of a man accused of raping a juvenile victim. 

According to the Sunbury Police Department, Jerry D. Mangus was arrested on three counts of rape and seven counts of gross sexual imposition.  

Police say the juvenile victim reported that Mangus had sexually assaulted her between December 2016 and October 2017.  

The Sunbury Police Department fully investigated the reported incidents through a continuing course of action of various locations throughout the Village of Sunbury, Delaware and Knox counties which led to the Indictment.
