There’s a large mess to clean up after a car crashed into a pillar, causing a strip mall on East Dublin Granville Road and SR 161 to partly collapse, Sunday.

Surveillance video from a nearby business showed the car slam into the pillar of the store.

As a result, several businesses closed temporarily to keep the public safe.

People at the scene said that when they heard a loud boom they realized something wasn’t right.

A store owner said he couldn’t believe that no-one got hurt.

“I’m blessed,” said Edinson Reyes, owner of Mi Bandera supermarket. “My business is blessed. We are blessed here. I’m really glad no-one got hurt.”

The property management said they plan to hire a company to build and eight-feet-high fence to keep the area secure.
