COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) - The Columbus International Auto Show is making a big statement this weekend at the Greater Columbus Convention Center.
"It seems that everything is getting a little bit bigger," Auto Show Director Kelly Danison said.
Danison says the hot ticket items are the bigger vehicles like SUV's, crossovers and pickup trucks.
She tells NBC4 that the auto show makes this whole "shopping" experience stress-free.
"It’s a zero-pressure environment. You don't have to drive from dealership to dealership. It's all under one roof," Danison said.
And even if you're not in the market for a new car, there may be something at the auto show that you didn't even know you needed.
"Car people are also motorcycle people," said Frank Lark, vice president of Iron Pony Motorsports. "There is direct correlation there."
"So, there's a lot of vehicles that get you from A to B and we get you from C to F; that’s from cool to fun in 3.2 seconds."
If you want to upgrade, Danison says there are plenty of options for you.
"We are a little of everything. We have cars that start at $14,000 and vehicles that go up to over $400,000. There is a wide variety of price points and vehicles. "
The show is Saturday 10-9 pm and Sunday 10-6 pm. It's $12 at the door or $10 online.
