Sobriety checkpoint to be held in Bexley Friday night

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — The Franklin County DUI Task Force will be holding a sobriety checkpoint in Bexley Friday.

According to a release from the task force, the checkpoint will be held on E. Main Street and Parkview Avenue in Bexley.

The checkpoint is scheduled to be between the hours of 6:30pm and 11:30pm. 

The task force says there will also be extra patrols during the weekend throughout Franklin County specifically looking for impaired drivers.

Anyone who plans on drinking alcohol this weekend is reminded by the task force to use a designated driver or make other arrangements if you travel anywhere.
