Shots fired near school bus east of downtown Columbus

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — CPD is investigating after shots were fired near a school bus east of downtown Columbus.

It happened around 3:06pm Thursday on the 300 block of North Monroe Avenue.

Police say they responded to reports of shots fired. Initial reports indicated the bus may have been hit, but police later determined it was not.

Police do not believe anyone was hit.

Two people were taken into custody for questioning.
