A nearly two million dollar settlement has been approved for one of the “catastrophic victims” of the deadly Fireball accident at the 2017 Ohio State Fair.

The Licking County Probate Court told NBC4 a judge approved a partial settlement Tuesday of $1.769 Million dollars for Jennifer Lambert who was critically injured when the ride broke apart in the air.

Lambert was among the seven injured during the accident at the opening day of the fair on July 26, 2017. 18-year-old Tyler Jarrell was killed in the accident.

Court documents obtained by NBC4 show Lambert sustained a traumatic brain injury during the accident.
