State Route 161 reopens in New Albany area after vehicle crash

NEW ALBANY, Ohio (WCMH) — State Route 161 has reopened in both directions in the New Albany area after a vehicle crash Monday morning.

Sections of the freeway were closed between I-270 and U.S. 62 for parts of Monday morning and afternoon.

One of the vehicles in the crash crossed the median and rolled over. The Plain Township Fire Department reported that two people were transported to Mount Carmel East, including one who is in critical condition.
