Second medical helicopter company confirms it turned down flight

(WCMH) – A second medical helicopter company now confirms it also turned down a request to transport a patient from a hospital in southern Ohio to Columbus.

A pilot for Health-Net Aero-Medical Services says weather conditions were below their operational minimums.

A crash on Tuesday morning resulted in the death of three crew members of a Surival Flight helicopter that was on the way to transport a patient to Columbus.

Thursday, we received our first look from the sky at the crash site in Vinton County.

Crash scene investigators were back at the site Thursday, collecting evidence and debris from the scene.
