PITTSBURGH (WCMH) - Former Buckeye Ryan Shazier stunned a Pittsburgh crowd Friday as he walked unassisted.
Shazier shared a video on Twitter from the Pittsburgh Steelers practice of him walking across a field. The former Ohio State linebacker is still recovering from a spinal injury he suffered playing football last season.
"Today was a great day," Shazier wrote. "The team had a wonderful practice. But I also got to enjoy the fan!! If you were able to make it to the stadium, here if a little bit of what happened!! I promise you the lord is not done working yet!! Keep Shalieving."
Shazier was injured making a tackle during an NFL game against the Cincinnati Bengals last year.
In April, he walked across the stage at the NFL Draft.
