COLUMBUS (WCMH) — The 26th annual Komen Columbus Race for the Cure takes place on Saturday.
Everything gets underway in downtown Columbus at 8am, with the 5K starting at 9:45am. The family fun walk begins at 10am.
So far, the race has raised nearly $1.2 million of the $1.7 million goal. Click here to find out how to get involved.
The race begins at the intersection of Elm and Front streets downtown and ends near the Columbus Commons.
Broad Street between High and Third will close by 6 pm on Friday, May 18. High Street between State and Broad will close by 6 am on Saturday, May 19. Front Street between Broad and Long will close by 6 am on Saturday, May 19.
All roads on the course will begin to close by 9:15 am on the morning of the race.
