CLINTONVILLE, OH (WCMH) — A “kangaroo crossing” sign is back up in Clintonville after being taken down in March.
The sign was first posted as a joke by a homeowner on Clinton Heights Avenue several years ago. It was taken down by the city in March due to safety reasons.
This prompted protesters and fans to set up a GoFundMe page.
Now, the sign is back up, and warning of kangaroos crossing at Clintonville Elementary School.
The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium was on site for the unveiling, along with Clint the Kangaroo.
Supporters could also buy kangaroo items inspired by the marsupial madness.
