Residence hall thefts at Morrill Tower triggers OSU Crime Alert

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Several thefts at Morrill Tower have caused a Crime Alert on Ohio State’s campus.

According to the Ohio State University’s Police Division, a crime trend has been taking place in Morrill Tower in which there have been several thefts of cash and credit cards from unlocked, unattended residence hall rooms.

The crimes occurred between Wednesday, August 15, and Thursday, August 30, and are reported to have occurred during varied times, including early morning and evening hours.
OSUPD reminds residents to lock their doors and report suspicious behavior or missing property to police.
