Power restored to more than 3,000 AEP Ohio customers near Harrison West, Short North

Power has been restored to more than 3,000 AEP Ohio customers in the Harrison West and Short North neighborhoods.

According to AEP Ohio, the outage began around 7:14am Saturday after a distribution line failed. The outage left 3,276 customers without power.

NBC4’s transmitter was affected by the power outage but service has since been restored.

The power was restored to the area around noon on Saturday.
