POWELL, OH (WCMH) – Police in Powell are looking for two men in connection with a skimming device that was installed on a local ATM.
An employee at WesBanco at 10716 Sawmill Parkway discovered that an ATM had been tampered with.
Video released by Powell police shows two men installing a skimming device on the ATM on August 4. The returned and removed the device on August 5.
Police say the men may have left in a red SUV, hatchback or van.
According to Powell police, 14 people had their cards compromised. The total amount stolen was $5.398.50.
Police in Columbus believe the suspects are tied to similar incidents inside Columbus.
