Police: Man kicked down door of west Columbus home while woman was home sleeping

COLUMBUS (WCMH) – Police in Columbus are looking for a man who kicked down the door of a west side home while the victim was home asleep.

It happened May 7 at a home on Chesfield Drive in Columbus.

According to a police report, two people in a Dodge Nitro pulled into the driveway. The suspects then disconnected the electric meter and kicked in the front door.

Three other interior locked doors were also kicked down, according to police. A woman was home asleep in one of those rooms.

According to the police report, nothing was missing from the home.

Police know who was driving the car, but need help identifying the suspect that kicked the door.
