Police looking for suspect in west Columbus credit union robbery

Police are searching for a suspect in a Saturday morning credit union robbery.

On Saturday, September 22 at approximately 10:59am, police say a suspect entered the First Service Federal Credit Union located at 2164 Hilliard Rome Road and presented a demand note to an employee for money. The employee complied and gave the suspect an undetermined amount of money. The suspect fled the credit union on foot.

Investigators say the suspect is described as a white male, 35-45 years old, 5’8″, 150 lbs, red hair, beard that was possibly fake, dark sweatshirt, tan pants and a black hat with “NRA” in yellow on the front.

The incident was captured by surveillance video.
