Police investigating after gun pulled on east Columbus pharmacy employee

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — The Columbus Division of Police is investigating after a man pulled a gun on an employee at an eastside pharmacy.

According to police, an unknown man entered the CVS Pharmacy at 3355 E. Livingston Ave. around 10:55am Monday. The man took an item from a store shelf and placed it on the counter at the checkout. As the cashier began to ring up the purchase, police say the man displayed a handgun and told the employee to “Hurry up.”

Police say the cashier complied and the suspect fled the scene on foot.

The suspect is described as a black male in his mid-20s. He is between 5 feet 6 inches tall and 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs around 180 pounds. He has a black mustache or goatee and was waring a gray zip-up hooded jacket, black paints and red shoes.
