Police identify three people killed in crash near Trabue Road

FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, OH (WCMH) — Police say three people are dead after a crash near Trabue Road.

According to the Columbus Division of Police, emergency crews were called to Trabue Road near McKinley Avenue in Franklin Township at about 7:30am, Friday on the report of a crash involving a vehicle and a train. 

After investigating, police say there was no train involved and it was a single-vehicle crash.

Police said a 2007 Yukon was traveling north on McKinley Avenue south of Trabue Road. The vehicle went off the right side of the road, rolled several times, ejecting all three occupants.

Medics pronounced three people dead at the scene:

  • Ryan D. Riley, 35
  • Johnny J. Collins, 35
  • Glenn Featherston, 58

Police aren’t sure who was driving.

The crash remains under investigation.
