Firefighters 4 Kids collect two semi-trucks full of toys, $47K at toy drive

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — When all was said and done, after seven hours of donations, Firefighters 4 Kids were able to leave the NBC4 studio with two semi-trucks full of toys and more than $47,000 in monetary and gift card donations Saturday.

Thousands of residents from central Ohio made their way to NBC4’s Olentangy River Road headquarters to make their donations for the 42nd annual Firefighters 4 Kids Toy Drive.

But collecting is still going on — you have until Dec. 24 to make either a toy or monetary (cash or gift card) donation at any local fire station in central Ohio.
